Blackball: Illuminating Negro Leagues Baseball
Exhibition Reception

Join LNAC Thursday the 13th as we celebrate this glorious exhibition with a warm reception for the artists, friends and families and our partners on this project - Harlem Historical Society, the Harlem Black Yankees, Friends of Colonel Young Park and Abyssinian Development Corporation. Special invited guests also include Councilmember Inez Dickens, The Office of Manhattan Borough President, Scott Stringer, and The Black & Latino Caucus of the NY City Counci. The exhibition includes over 30 works in celebration of the Negro Leagues and its players. Participating artist include, Donald "Sunn" Anderson, Lou Grant, Charles Hearn, Rod Ivey, LeRoy Neiman, Kadir Nelson, George Nelson Preston, Sherry Shine and Grace Y. Williams - please come and meet them all!

Exhibition dates: August 27 - September 27, 2012
