The Studio Museum in Harlem and The Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture proudly present a conversation with Thelma Golden and Khalil Gilbran Muhammad. This conversation will focus on the role of each institution in collecting, preserving and presenting black art and culture in the 21st century. This discussion will be enhanced by visual presentations of items from the Studio Museum and Schomburg collections.

Khalil Gibran Muhammad, Ph.D. is the Director of the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture and a former associate professor of history at Indiana University.

Thelma Golden is the Director and Chief Curator at The Studio Museum in Harlem.
