Dear NYC Visual Artists,

Curate NYC co-founder Brian Tate and I have recruited top curators from around the globe to view your work and organize citywide gallery shows and online exhibitions from among the enries. Curate NYC 2013 offers you rare exposure to these influential curators for free. Our deadline for entries is October 1, so don't miss your chance to have your work seen and possibly selected for exhibition.

Registration is simple, free and exclusive to New York City artists. Visit us at http://www.curatenyc.org/2013/ to enter.

This year's art experts include the chief curators and/or leaders of The Getty Foundation, MoCA Tokyo, Times Square Alliance, The Van Gogh Museum, the National September 11 Memorial Museum, and many others. They represent cities from Baltimore to Berlin, Montreal to Moscow, London to Los Angeles, and many more.  (See below for a full list.) Curate NYC is non-thematic: We accept works across all visual media, styles and themes, or abstract work of no theme. Our second initiative, "Curate NYC presents NYC25," invites artists to submit a second entry that imagines New York City 25 years in the future. We encourage you to join both platforms. Our gallery partners are citywide, and our judges include leaders of several major cultural organizations, including the New-York Historical Society, Creative Capital, Creative Time, and the Municipal Art Society, as well as art collector Beth Rudin DeWoody and rockstar Santigold, among others.Curate NYC 2011 received over one million web hits. A number of artists also made sales and were chosen for future shows. If you are a New York City visual artist, this is a tremendous platform to help to advance your career. We hope you'll join us.

All the Best,
Danny Simmons
