THE GREAT DIVAS OF GOSPEL,
A History of Gospel Music
Written by and starring Lady Peachena

GREAT DIVAS OF GOSPEL is an exciting gospel musical that pays tribute to the female pioneers of gospel music who bravely carried this joyful music all across the United States during the Great Depression of the late 1930s and early 1940s. This electrifying show salutes dynamic gospel groups like the Sallie Martin Singers, the Clara Ward Singers, Roberta Martin & the R.M. Singers, Dorothy Love Coates & the Gospel Harmonettes, Marion Williams & the Stars of Faith, the Famous Davis Sisters, Albertina Walker & the Famous Caravans, and of course, Gospel's Queen, Miss Mahalia Jackson
