Voza Rivers/New Heritage Theatre Group in association with My Image Studio Theatre (MIST) and Silicone Harlem present Bold New Voices Past,Present and Future.



The Park Plays will be a staged reading of 5 one act plays that take place in public parks, mainly in Harlem and one in a California park.

Public parks are the settings for confrontations, covert romances, religious ideology promoted, domiciles for the homeless and where friendships are forged. Within these short plays we see into the mosaic of African American life as the characters struggle with the challenges and contradictions in their lives with the park as their stage.
