 HAA Welcomes Kim Wayans

Actress/Comedienne, Kim Wayans and Obie Award winning playwright,
Robert O' Hara present the world premiere of Barbecue at the Public Theatre.

Barbecue- Written by acclaimed playwright Robert O'Hara and starring actress comedienne Kim Wayans in her stage debut.  The O' Mallery's have gathered in their local park to share some barbecue and straight talk but the event becomes raucous and unpredictable as familial stereotypes collide with hard realities and racial politics slam up against the stories we tell.  Previews begin Tuesday, September 22nd and run through Sunday, November 1st.
