The Apollo's Master Class Talent
Development Seminar series provides one-day intensives for
performing artists led by arts and entertainment industry professionals.
The series launches with a seminar that highlights the essentials of writing a
great song. Multi-award winning singer-songwriter-producer and recording artist
Gordon Chambers
leads this intensive songwriting seminar for aspiring and experienced
lyricists. The winner of eight ASCAP songwriting awards and four Dove
nominations, Chambers has written for over 75 recording artists including
Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Beyoncé, Brandy, Trey Songz, Usher, Jamie
Foxx, Gladys Knight, Chaka Khan, Patti LaBelle and Marc Anthony.
Attendees will focus on song structure and presentation, understanding
royalties, and how to market and promote their songs. Some participants will
also get the opportunity to share their songs for review and feedback.
This class is appropriate
for beginning and experienced songwriters.
