Come preview a scene from Colored Lives and partake of gourmet appetizers and beverages at Sister's Uptown Bookstore. After the preview, hang around and network.  Colored Lives: Angela speaks to her ancestor about her play. As it is being performed the actors lives become entwined. The merging of life and play is expressed through poetry, dialog, music, ancestral vocals and dance. Romantic love, AIDS, substance abuse and te power of choice are some of the issues expressed.
