The Afro Latin Jazz Alliance is pleased to present on April 4 - 5, 2014,  the North American premiere of the music documentary, ''Guitarra de Palo," directed by Andrea Zapata-Girau and  co-produced by Andrea Zapata-Girau and Antón Jiménez, with live performances by some of today's leading flamenco players; including trumpeter/percussionist Jerry Gonzalez, guitarist Antón Jiménez, flutist Jorge Pardo, blues-flamenco guitarist Raimundo Amador, bass player Javier Colina, percussionist Israel Suárez "Piraña", flamenco singer Rafita Jiménez and flamenco dancer David Paniagua.
